April 16, 2017 – safely in Burgos and reunited with Laura & Rosemary
Above kind of says it all! An easy trip from Savannah here to Burgos and I’m even a little embarrassed about having taken the private car here as I felt great when I got off the plane and there was plenty of time to have made the train. Oh well, I took away any travel-related stress and given the cost, can no longer make any comments about either Tom’s new driver (M5?) or his new Scotty Cameron putter (the golfers in the crowd will have reckoned that the private car was not cheap!).
Unfortunately I did not make it into the cathedral today, but we did see the lovely and very colourful Easter procession (some pics attached).
It is a lovely day here and any nervousness is now gone and I am sooooo excited to start walking tomorrow.
Laura and Rosemary are both looking great and it will be fantastic to journey with them. I think it’s a complement that they are referring to me as their Sherpa!
A quiet day, so not much to say.

So glad you are there and ready to start! Enjoy a beautiful Easter in Burgos. Wishing you a pleasant, safe, injure- free, fun, fulfilling and fantastic journey!
